Let's mine Zen ProtocolFollow the guide below to start mining Zen Protocol.
Zen Protocol Wallet
To start mining you need a wallet where the pool can send your mined coins.
You can download the official Zen Protocol wallet here: https://github.com/zenprotocol/zenwallet/
Instructions on how to install wallet for Linux/OSX and Windows is available here: https://docs.zenprotocol.com
Web wallet
You can also use the web wallet so you dont have to download the whole blockchain just visit https://wallet.zp.io/
Just make sure you are visiting the correct website
You can mine Zen Protocol using your NVIDIA and AMD GPUs. You can also use your CPU but since the difficulty is already high, mining with a CPU is no longer profitable.
NVIDIA Miner (DevFee: 0%)
Download the NVIDIA GPU miner here: ccminer-zp
AMD Miner (DevFee: 0%)
Download the AMD GPU miner here: sgminer-zp
ZPMINER Miner (DevFee: 1%)
Download the ZPMINER miner here: zpminer
We thought ZPminer will work but it looks like its using a different stratum implementation.
Which one should you download?
Based on our tests ccminer-zp and sgminer-zp gave us better results. zpminer also slows down the responsivenes of our rig but that is usually not an issue if you are mining using your mining rigs and not your everyday computer.
We highly recommend that you try ccminer-zp for NVIDIA GPUs and sgminer-zp for AMD gpus first since they are faster and has no additional DevFees. if those are not working on your device then try zpminer or if your mining rig has mix gpus then zpminer might be the better option, especially if you dont want to run multiple miners jsut to mine both on amd and nvidia.
Once you have downloaded and unzipped the correct miner for your machine, the next step is to start the miner using the proper commandline arguments.
You can copy the below command line and paste it on your batch file or download it by clicking the download icon.
CCMINER-ZP Configuration
Copy to clipboard | Download Batch fileccminer -o stratum+tcp://pool.zenprotocolpool.com:8811 -u ADDRESS.WORKER_ID -p [email protected]
SGMINER-ZP Configuration
Copy to clipboard | Download Batch filesgminer --kernel zenprotocol -o stratum+tcp://pool.zenprotocolpool.com:8811 -u ADDRESS.WORKER_ID -p [email protected]
Customize your command line arguments
Edit the command line arguments by changing the ADDRESS
with your own ZP wallet address and WORKER_ID
with your own identifier for your rigs so you can easily identify your rigs on your dashboard.
You could also set an email address using the password field so the pool can send you an email in case one of your miners goes down.

You can view your dashboard by entering your address on the search box at the top of this page.
On your dashboard you can see your total hashrate, hashrate per miner and the last time it sent a share. You can also view your balance and total amount sent to you by the pool. You can also set the minimum payout threshold and enable notifications in case your miner is down.
Once your miners are working wait at least a minute for you to be able to view all of your miners on your dashboard.
Payments are sent once you reach the minimum payment threshold. So sit back, relax and just wait for your miners to accumulate more coins. Happy mining!

Minimum Payout Configuration
By default our pool sends payments when you reach the default minimum payout of 1.0 ZP. You could adjust your minimum payout level if you wanted to get payments more or less frequently.
To adjust your minimum payout threshold just visit your dashboard. Click the 'Adjust payout' link and enter your desired minimum payment threshold.
NOTE: Only the confirmed balance can be sent by the pool. Unconfirmed balance are rewards from uncornfirmed blocks which needs 100 confirmations before they can be sent by the pool.
Notifications
Our pool can be configured to send a notification in case one of your miner goes down. To do that just change the password parameter of the miner to your email address.
Example config
ccminer -o stratum+tcp://pool.zenprotocolpool.com:8811 -u ADDRESS.WORKER_ID -p [email protected]
Everytime your miner disconnects the pool will send an email to your mailbox.
Make sure to whitelist or mark our email as "not spam" because emails sent by our mail server is being marked as spam. I am guessing it's because the IP of our mail server is still new which means the reputation of our IP is very low which makes it very likely for email providers to block our emails.
